The SAD Blog

A crazy/dumb little blog for Steve to share his thoughts on the world, his job, his life, or any old thing that may happen either to him or to others. Plus everybody else is doing it :)

I'm laughing too much at this...

Steve's Outrage of the Day: The Spring Edition

A week or so ago, the Senate had a hearing on the Food-for-oil scandal. They had a member of Parliament appear named George Galloway. He did a great job and even did a Jack Nicklson-esque "You can't handle the truth"-type outrage at the Republicans who accused him wanting the US and UK to fail in Iraq.

Now, this blog entry shows that everybody who testified is recorded on the Senate web site -- except Galloway's. It says that he never spoke. Here's his non-statement

Armarillo Spoof By Royal Guard

The British do have a great sense of humor. This Armarillo Spoof is really funny. Just go and watch it.

Rebecca and I are on a break

I promised Rebecca that I wasn't going to use the blog as a way to update people on our relationship but this one is a little more important. Rebecca called after we've been playing phone tag for the last few days.

Short version: She is getting fed up with the distances that we drive and wants someone closer to her. So we are taking a break (cue some funny Friends line here) and seeing if we miss each other enough to re-evaluate our relationship.

One Good Thing

One Good Thing is just a great little blog I (sometimes) read. Just read this post. It is leaving me speechless.

What the Fu...

...ck? So I'm reading this article and it sounds like some of the worse conspiracy theories I've ever read on the net. Except that it is on the ABC News site. I'm really scared at what it may mean. Just go and read it.

What's the matter with Kansas?

Yea, I know. I've been gone for a little while. But I'll try and be back on a regular basis.

Anyways, I've been following the Scopes Monkey Trial II that ended in Kansas last week. On the plus side, the Creationists looked like fools. Of course, that may be news but it was nice to see them prove to be among the least evolved humans we have. On the other hand, we are still debating evolution in 2005.

So I was reading Daily Kos and saw the link to this article. It is an article/blog post on the dinosaur fossils found in Kansas. It really is a fascinating read.
